About Boulder Crest Retreat

Boulder Crest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, founded in 2011, that supports combat veterans and their family members, and first responders, who struggle with a number of mental health challenges as a result of their service.

Boulder Crest owns and operates two rural wellness centers – Boulder Crest Retreat Virginia (opened on September 6, 2013) and Boulder Crest Retreat Arizona (opened on November 30, 2017) – in addition to the Boulder Crest Institute for Posttraumatic Growth (opened September 12, 2018).

Boulder Crest is committed to solving the mental health crisis by training military members, veterans, and their families dealing with PTSD and combat-related stress to live productive, fulfilling, and service-oriented lives at home, as well as provide free, world class, short-duration, high-impact retreats.

Boulder Crest delivers two signature programs at its two retreat facilities: Warrior PATHH and Family Rest and Reconnection stays. The programs focus on training combat veterans and their families, as well as first responders to be as productive at home as they are in the field.
